Hindustan Zinc standalone net profit declines 18.06% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales rise 0.35% to Rs 6277.00 crore

Net profit of Hindustan Zinc declined 18.06% to Rs 2505.00 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 3057.00 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales rose 0.35% to Rs 6277.00 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 6255.00 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit rose 11.54% to Rs 9276.00 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 8316.00 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales rose 27.85% to Rs 22084.00 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 17273.00 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
