The Hong Kong stock market ended slightly down on Wednesday, 20 December 2017, as investors elected to book profit after two days of healthy gains, with weakness in financial and IT stocks offset strength in property and utility plays. The Hang Seng Index dipped 0.07%, or 19.57 points, to close at 29,234.09. The Hang Seng China Enterprises index fell 0.31% to 11,505.88. Turnover decreased to HK$80.3 billion from HK$94.2 billion on Tuesday.
