Housing Development Finance Corporation standalone net profit declines 21.59% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales decline 7.69% to Rs 8502.03 crore

Net profit of Housing Development Finance Corporation declined 21.59% to Rs 2044.20 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 2607.05 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales declined 7.69% to Rs 8502.03 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 9210.53 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 4.93% to Rs 7442.64 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 7093.10 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 7.14% to Rs 33112.79 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 30905.12 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
