ICICI Prudential MF hikes stake in PVR

PVR on Saturday (28 March) disclosed that ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund (MF) has hiked its shareholding to 9.37% stake from 7.34% stake in the company.

ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund (MF) has purchased 10.45 lakh equity shares or 2.03% stake in PVR. Post acquisition, ICICI Prudential MF holds 9.37% stake from 7.34% held earlier.

Shares of PVR fell 1.67% to close at Rs 1,257.25 on Friday.

PVR's consolidated net profit slipped 34.25% to Rs 36.34 crore on a 8.61% jump in net sales to Rs 915.74 crore in Q3 December 2019 over Q3 December 2018.

PVR is a film entertainment company, which is engaged in the motion picture exhibition in cinemas. The company has organized its operations into three business segments: movie exhibition, movie production & distribution and others like bowling, gaming and restaurant.
