India Steel Works standalone net profit rises 77.63% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 27.73% to Rs 231.72 crore

Net profit of India Steel Works rose 77.63% to Rs 4.05 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 2.28 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 27.73% to Rs 231.72 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 181.41 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 98.27% to Rs 8.01 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 4.04 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 63.90% to Rs 1038.46 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 633.60 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
