IndusInd Bank, Yes Bank firm up on Sensex entry

Yes Bank and IndusInd Bank rose 2.06% to 0.93% at 11:00 IST on BSE as these two scrips will replace Cipla and Lupin from the 30-share S&P BSE Sensex with effect from 18 December 2017.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 36.29 points, or 0.11% at 33,306.51.

IndusInd Bank (up 0.93%) and Yes Bank (up 2.06%), edged higher.

Cipla (down 1.42%) and Lupin (down 0.37%), edged lower.

IndusInd Bank and Yes Bank will be included in the S&P BSE Sensex, while Cipla and Lupin will be excluded from the benchmark index. The changes are effective at the open of Monday, 18 December 2017.
