J K Cements standalone net profit rises 30.42% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 7.74% to Rs 1018.86 crore

Net profit of J K Cements rose 30.42% to Rs 91.37 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 70.06 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 7.74% to Rs 1018.86 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 945.69 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 151.21% to Rs 259.58 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 103.33 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 5.18% to Rs 3703.55 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 3521.20 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
