Jindal Stainless (Hisar) standalone net profit rises 453.90% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 39.08% to Rs 2043.17 crore

Net profit of Jindal Stainless (Hisar) rose 453.90% to Rs 60.43 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 10.91 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 39.08% to Rs 2043.17 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 1469.10 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 778.05% to Rs 218.02 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 24.83 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 8.16% to Rs 6889.81 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 6369.74 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
