JSW Steel reports production performance of Q4FY20 and FY20

JSW Steel reported crude steel production at 3.97 million tons (MT) in Q4FY20 compared to 4.02 MT in Q3FY20 and 4.17 MT in Q4FY19, recording QoQ growth of (-)1% and YoY growth of (-)5%.

Production of flat rolled products stood at 2.87 MT in Q4FY20 compared to 2.86 MT in Q3FY20 and 3.01 MT in Q4FY19, recording QoQ growth of 1% and YoY growth of (-)5%.

Production of long rolled products stood at 0.95 MT in Q4FY20 compared to 0.89 MT in Q3FY20 and 0.99 MT in Q4FY19, recording QoQ growth of 7% and YoY growth of (-)4%.

For the year FY20, crude steel production declined 4% to 16.06 MT compared to 16.69 MT in FY19.

 

Production of flat rolled products fell 3% to 11.35 MT in FY20 compared to 11.74 MT in FY19.

Production of long rolled products fell 4% to 3.72 MT in FY20 compared to 3.87 MT in FY19.
