Kalpataru Power gains after winning new orders worth Rs 1035 crore

Kalpataru Power Transmission rose 2.26% to Rs 259.85 at 15:30 IST on BSE after the company said that it has secured new orders worth Rs 1035 crore.

The company made announcement during trading hours today, 30 June 2015.

Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex was up 131.99 points, or 0.48%, to 27,774.84.

On BSE, so far 48,061 shares were traded in the counter, compared with an average volume of 51,178 shares in the past one quarter.

The stock hit a high of Rs 265 and low of Rs 250.90.

Kalpataru Power Transmission (KPTL) said it has received orders for three international transmission line projects in Kenya, Qatar and Combodia of approximately Rs 600 crore. It has received four projects in Railway Division with KPTL's share of approximately Rs 325 crore. It has also got order from PowerGrid Corporation of India (PGCIL) for 765 KV D/C Srikakulam Pooling Station-Angular transmission line (part 1) of 86 kilometers of approximately 100 crore.

 

KPTL is a turnkey player in power, infrastructure and asset creation.
