Kothari Fermentation & Biochem standalone net profit rises 179.07% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales decline 0.84% to Rs 21.28 crore

Net profit of Kothari Fermentation & Biochem rose 179.07% to Rs 1.20 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 0.43 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales declined 0.84% to Rs 21.28 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 21.46 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 66.67% to Rs 3.15 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 1.89 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 2.47% to Rs 79.09 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 77.18 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
