Larsen & Toubro standalone net profit declines 47.55% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 5.54% to Rs 23499.65 crore

Net profit of Larsen & Toubro declined 47.55% to Rs 1254.08 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 2391.07 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 5.54% to Rs 23499.65 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 22265.41 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 9.08% to Rs 5453.74 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 4999.58 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 3.90% to Rs 66301.35 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 63812.65 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
