Merck announces change in directorate

Merck announced that Dr. Peter- Ulrich Mannheimer, Non- Executive Director of the Company, has resigned from the Board of Directors consequent upon change of nomination by Merck KGaA as provided in the Articles of Association of the Company. In his place, Bradley Simpson has been nominated as a Non- Executive Director on the Board of the Company.
