NBCC gains after procuring land for real estate project

National Buildings Construction Corporation rose 1.32% to Rs 765.15 at 9:46 IST on BSE after the company said it has procured 7,612.86 sqm plot in Jaipur for real estate project.
The announcement was made after market hours yesterday, 15 June 2015.
Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 93.19 points or 0.35% at 26,493.36.
On BSE, so far 29,000 shares were traded in the counter as against average daily volume of 95,000 shares in the past two weeks.
The stock hit a high of Rs 769 and a low of Rs 761 so far during the day. The stock had hit a record high of Rs 1,087 on 4 March 2015. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 293.65 on 16 June 2014.

On consolidated basis, National Buildings Construction Corporation's (NBCC) net profit rose 30.1% to Rs 133.64 crore on 25.3% growth in net sales to Rs 1788 crore in Q4 March 2015 over Q4 March 2014.
NBCC is a blue-chip Government of India (GoI) Navratna Enterprise under the Ministry of Urban Development, in construction sector. The GoI held 90% stake in the firm (as per shareholding pattern as on 31 March 2015).
