NHPC consolidated net profit rises 171.43% in the March 2021 quarter

Sales decline 25.86% to Rs 1609.17 crore

Net profit of NHPC rose 171.43% to Rs 427.55 crore in the quarter ended March 2021 as against Rs 157.52 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2020. Sales declined 25.86% to Rs 1609.17 crore in the quarter ended March 2021 as against Rs 2170.41 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2020.

For the full year,net profit rose 12.90% to Rs 3257.00 crore in the year ended March 2021 as against Rs 2884.92 crore during the previous year ended March 2020. Sales declined 3.60% to Rs 9647.89 crore in the year ended March 2021 as against Rs 10008.07 crore during the previous year ended March 2020.
