NHPC gets in-principle approval for diversion of forest land

For construction of 3000MW Dibang Multipurpose Project in Arunachal Pradesh

NHPC announced that Ministry of Environment, Forests & Climate Change vide its letter dated 15 April 2015 has accorded in-principle approval for diversion of 4577.84 ha of forest land in favour of NHPC for construction of Dibang Multipurpose Project (3000 MW) on Dibang River in Lower Dibang valley district of Arunachal Pradesh.
