Turnover drops
Nifty January 2014 futures were at 6331.35, at a premium of 12.45 points over spot closing of 6318.90. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment declined to Rs 113237.34 crore from Rs 155619.86 crore on Wednesday, 15 January 2014.
AXIS Bank January 2014 futures were at 1179, at a premium over spot closing of 1173.75.
HCL Technologies January 2014 futures were at 1390, at a discount compared to spot closing of 1392.
Infosys January 2014 futures were at 3720.50, at a discount compared to spot closing of 3721.95.
In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty lost 2 points or 0.03% to settle at 6,318.90, its lowest closing level since 14 January 2014.
The January 2014 derivatives contracts expire on 30 January 2014.
