Orissa Sponge Iron & Steel announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on 28 August 2015, inter alia, has considered / approved the following business:1. S. K. Kar, Director nominated by IPICOL, was appointed as Additional Director.
2. Sonia Jabbar, Women Director nominated by Torsteel Research Foundation In India was appointed as Additional Director.
3. Full erosion of net worth calculated in the manner provided under the Sick Industrial Companies (Special Provisions) Act,1985 as per the Audited Accounts for the Financial year ended 31st March, 2015 was noted and taken on record.
4. Proposal to seek extension of time from ROC by 3 months for holding the Annual General Meeting was considered and approved.
