Piramal Enterprises consolidated net profit rises 1169.51% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales rise 22.04% to Rs 2991.06 crore

Net profit of Piramal Enterprises rose 1169.51% to Rs 3943.98 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 310.67 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales rose 22.04% to Rs 2991.06 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 2450.93 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit rose 308.95% to Rs 5120.28 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 1252.04 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales rose 25.02% to Rs 10631.03 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 8503.65 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
