Prakash Industries net profit declines 48.86% in the March 2013 quarter

Net profit of Prakash Industries declined 48.86% to Rs 38.92 crore in the quarter ended March 2013 as against Rs 76.11 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2012. Sales declined 4.33% to Rs 602.34 crore in the quarter ended March 2013 as against Rs 629.59 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2012.

For the Audited full year,net profit declined 38.51% to Rs 164.89 crore in the year ended March 2013 as against Rs 268.16 crore during the previous year ended March 2012. Sales rose 19.17% to Rs 2510.91 crore in the year ended March 2013 as against Rs 2106.93 crore during the previous year ended March 2012.
