Prakash Industries updates on its power generation initiative

Project to save Rs 30 crore annually

Prakash Industries announced that the Company is generating power through waste heat recovery boilers connected with the kilns. The Company is a pioneer and first in the country, to develop this energy saving technology. The Company has recently completed a project for retrofitting of these Boilers along with a new Turbo Generator Set. With the execution of this project the Company is able to generate higher power of over 8 MW without additional cost. The project is expected to give substantial savings to the Company to the tune of about Rs 30 crores annually.
