Quick Wrap: Nifty PSE Index falls 2.22%

Nifty PSE index ended down 2.22% at 3102.45 today. The index has slipped 2.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Oil India Ltd shed 5.65%, Oil & Natural Gas Corpn Ltd fell 5.17% and Coal India Ltd slipped 5.07%. The Nifty PSE index has fallen 5.00% over last one year compared to the 10.84% increase in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Media index gained 1.73% and Nifty Metal index has slid 1.54% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 has declined 0.52% to close at 12106.9 while the SENSEX has dropped 0.50% to close at 41115.38 today.
