Quick Wrap: Nifty PSU Bank Index declines 2.00%

Nifty PSU Bank index ended down 2.00% at 2211.2 today. The index is down 10.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Jammu and Kashmir Bank Ltd shed 5.50%, Indian Bank dropped 3.63% and UCO Bank fell 3.42%. The Nifty PSU Bank index is down 20.00% over last one year compared to the 12.72% surge in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty PSE index is down 1.72% and Nifty Metal index is down 1.43% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 has dropped 0.50% to close at 12113.45 while the SENSEX has dropped 0.49% to close at 41257.74 today.
