Quick Wrap: Nifty Realty Index declines 2.76%

Nifty Realty index ended down 2.76% at 230.55 today. The index is down 15.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd shed 10.89%, Prestige Estates Projects Ltd added 6.54% and DLF Ltd slipped 5.86%. The Nifty Realty index is down 13.00% over last one year compared to the 12.76% surge in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Pharma index is down 1.91% and Nifty Auto index has dropped 1.87% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 has dropped 0.69% to close at 10977.55 while the SENSEX has dropped 0.60% to close at 36324.17 today.
