Quick Wrap: Nifty Realty Index registers a drop of 4.87%, NIFTY Crashes 1.30%

Nifty Realty index closed down 4.87% at 176.7 today. The index has lost 25.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Phoenix Mills Ltd dropped 11.88%, DLF Ltd shed 6.27% and Brigade Enterprises Ltd slipped 6.08%. The Nifty Realty index has decreased 36.00% over last one year compared to the 22.76% fall in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Media index has slid 3.34% and Nifty Financial Services index has dropped 3.08% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 has slid 1.30% to close at 8993.85 while the SENSEX has slid 1.51% to close at 30690.02 today.
