Quick Wrap: Nifty Realty Index rises 2.22%

Nifty Realty index closed up 2.22% at 237.5 today. The index is up 2.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Prestige Estates Projects Ltd gained 7.19%, Oberoi Realty Ltd jumped 3.14% and Unitech Ltd added 2.44%. The Nifty Realty index is down 32.00% over last one year compared to the 4.55% surge in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty PSU Bank index added 1.59% and Nifty Financial Services index increased 1.00% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 witnessed a rise of 0.44% to close at 10910.1 while the SENSEX added 0.52% to close at 36254.57 today.
