S Chand & Company standalone net profit rises 53.44% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 15.54% to Rs 210.20 crore

Net profit of S Chand & Company rose 53.44% to Rs 57.14 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 37.24 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 15.54% to Rs 210.20 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 181.93 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 66.67% to Rs 27.10 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 16.26 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 7.79% to Rs 301.35 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 279.56 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
