Sambandam Spinning Mills standalone net profit rises 169.23% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 33.27% to Rs 68.66 crore

Net profit of Sambandam Spinning Mills rose 169.23% to Rs 0.35 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 0.13 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 33.27% to Rs 68.66 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 51.52 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 1838.10% to Rs 8.14 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 0.42 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 1.67% to Rs 208.68 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 205.25 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
