Services exports up 19.3% in September 2018

Services trade surplus improves to US$ 6.43 billion in September 2018

As per the data released by the Reserve Bank of India, India's services exports increased 19.3% to US$ 16.38 billion in September 2018 over September 2017. Meanwhile, India's services imports jumped 17.8% to US$ 9.95 billion in September 2018.

India's services trade surplus improved 21.7% to US$ 6.43 billion in September 2018 from US$ 5.28 billion in September 2017.

India's services trade surplus improved 14.6% to US$ 38.50 billion in April-September 2018 over a year ago, with India's services exports rising 25.8% to US$ 101.07 billion in April-September 2018. Services imports have moved up 33.9% to US$ 62.57 billion.
