Snowman Logistics declines on profit booking

Snowman Logistics lost 6.95% at Rs 101.75 at 14:16 IST on BSE, with the stock declining on profit booking after recent upmove.

The result was announced after market hours Thursday, 30 October 2014.

Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex was up 383.97 points, or 1.4%, to 27,730.30

On BSE, so far 10.87 lakh shares were traded in the counter as against average daily volume of 11.22 lakh shares in the past two weeks.

The stock hit a high of Rs 105 and a low of Rs 100.25 so far during the day. The stock had hit a record high of Rs 110.65 on 30 October 2014. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 75 on 12 September 2014.

 

The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till 30 October 2014, rising 24.26% compared with 2.69% rise in the Sensex.

The small-cap company has an equity capital of Rs 166.45 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.

Ahead of the Q2 result, shares of Snowman Logistics had gained 4.59% to settle at Rs 109.35 on Thursday, 30 October 2014.

Snowman Logistics reported net profit of Rs 2.29 crore on total income of Rs 48.82 crore in Q2 September 2014.

Snowman Logistics is an integrated temperature controlled logistics services provider.
