Surat Textile Mills reports standalone net profit of Rs 3.58 crore in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 99.04% to Rs 39.25 crore

Net profit of Surat Textile Mills reported to Rs 3.58 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against net loss of Rs 1.52 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 99.04% to Rs 39.25 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 19.72 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 139.45% to Rs 6.13 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 2.56 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales declined 8.10% to Rs 117.22 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 127.55 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
