Vardhman Polytex standalone net profit declines 80.54% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 0.94% to Rs 235.80 crore

Net profit of Vardhman Polytex declined 80.54% to Rs 2.54 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 13.05 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 0.94% to Rs 235.80 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 233.61 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit declined 97.45% to Rs 0.23 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 9.02 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales declined 2.46% to Rs 856.47 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 878.08 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
