Vardhman Textiles consolidated net profit rises 3.26% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales decline 5.44% to Rs 1509.63 crore

Net profit of Vardhman Textiles rose 3.26% to Rs 163.68 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 158.52 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales declined 5.44% to Rs 1509.63 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 1596.52 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit declined 40.78% to Rs 581.19 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 981.42 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales rose 3.62% to Rs 6248.27 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 6029.95 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
