Godrej Consumer Products (GCPL) clocked volume of 2.39 lakh shares by 13:48 IST on BSE, a 18.20-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 13,000 shares. The stock lost 1.41% to Rs 843.75.
GCPL's consolidated net profit after minority interest without exceptional income rose 19% to Rs 205 crore on 30% growth in net sales to Rs 1716 crore in Q4 March 2013 over Q4 March 2012. The company announced Q4 results during trading hours today, 30 April 2013.
Motherson Sumi Systems notched up volume of 4.16 lakh shares, a 17.81-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 23,000 shares. The stock rose 1.56% to Rs 192.30.
Nestle India saw volume of 13,000 shares, a 12.82-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1,000 shares. The stock surged 5.3% to Rs 4,970.10. The stock hit a record high of Rs 5,050 in the intraday trade today, 30 April 2013.
