VST Tillers reaps rich harvest after good February sales

VST Tillers Tractors rose 1.22% to Rs 2,666.75 at 10:12 IST on BSE after the company reported robust sales of power tillers and tractors in February 2018 over February 2017.
The announcement was made on Friday, 2 March 2018, when the stock market was closed on account of Holi.Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 291.99 points, or 0.86%, to 33,754.95. The BSE Small-Cap index was down 129.17 points, or 0.71%, to 17,955.77.
On the BSE, 801 shares were traded in the counter so far, compared with an average volume of 1,367 shares in the past two weeks. The stock had hit a high of Rs 2,789.65 and hit a low of Rs 2,638.05 so far during the day. The stock had hit a record high of Rs 2,814 on 12 February 2018. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 1,770 on 14 March 2017.
The small-cap company has an equity capital of Rs 8.64 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.
VST Tillers Tractors' net profit rose 148.06% to Rs 31.38 crore on 24.69% growth in total income to Rs 181 crore in Q3 December 2017 over Q3 December 2016.
