60% voting in last phase of UP elections

Sixty per cent of voters cast their ballot in the seventh and last phase of polling in Uttar Pradesh till 5 p.m. on Wednesday, the poll panel said here.

The final figure may go up, Deputy Election commissioner Vijay Dev said.

The voting was largely peaceful, he said.
