Air Odisha commences Udan flight services on Jagdalpur-Raipur-Vizag route

Air Odisha on Thursday commenced flight operations on the Jagdalpur-Raipur-Vizag route under the regional air connectivity -- Udan -- scheme.

According to the airline, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Air Odisha's flight route Jagdalpur-Raipur-Vizag from Bhilai via live video.

The airline said that the service reduces the travel time between Raipur-Jagdalpur which is 288 km by road from 6-7 hours to only 40 minutes at a cost of Rs 1,670 per passenger.
