Alpha Cueists beat Snookin Shooters in Snooker meet

Alpha Cueists led by Faisal Khan secured a convincing 6-1 victory over Snookin Shooters on the second day of the Bengal Snooker League at the Saturday Club here on Wednesday.

Both teams sent their B marquee players in the first frame where Pushpender Singh of Alpha dominated Panduranga to defeat him 61-17.

In the second bout, Faisal won a tight frame against Kamal Chawla 74-56.

Leading 2-0, team Alpha pocketed third frame of doubles pro-am 81-36 to enhance the lead 3-0.

However, they could not save the fourth frame of 6 Reds doubles, but after that won the remaining three frames to close the match proceedings 6-1.

 

Meanwhile, City Knights recorded their first win after two consecutive losses when they defeated Green Warriors 4-3.
