Brazilian football giants Corinthians have made a bid to sign Leon and Argentina international striker Mauro Boselli, according to widespread media reports here.
Boselli is under contract with Leon until June but the Mexican club's financial difficulties have paved the way for him to leave early for a small transfer fee, the Uol news portal said, reports Xinhua news agency.
It added that negotiations between the Corinthians, Leon and Boselli's representatives have progressed in the past two days.
Boselli has scored 130 goals in 221 matches for Leon since joining the club from Italy's Palermo in 2013.
