Army commander reviews situation in north Kashmir

Indian Army's Northern Command chief, Lt Gen D. Anbu on Monday visited forward areas in north Kashmir to review winter preparedness of the forces, defence officials said.

Defence sources said that Anbu visited units in the area to review the prevailing security situation.

"Army commander was briefed about the winter preparedness and measures taken to meet the challenges posed by weather," a source said.
