Australian Open pays tribute to victims of Melbourne incident

Australian Open tennis players and officials on Saturday observed a minute of silence in honour of the four people who died and the 21 who were injured here after being hit by a vehicle fleeing the police.
Before the start of the encounter between Spaniard Rafael Nadal and German Alexander Zverev, fans and the players observed a minute of silence, reports Efe.
Meanwhile, a message reading "You were innocent and you will not be forgotten" was projected across the tournament screens.
The accident happened on a corner in the city centre on Friday and the driver was arrested. Police have confirmed the attack was not related to terrorism.
