Barcelona midfielder Javier Mascherano missed the training session on Monday ahead of Tuesday's Champions League clash against Italian football club Roma.
The Argentine sustained an injury to his right leg during La Liga's game against Real Madrid on Saturday, reports Efe.
Mascherano had a session at the gym but he has not entered the training field and joins the injured list with midfielder Rafinha Alcantara and defender Douglas Pereira.
It is expected that Mascherano may be out of the squad to be announced by Luis Enrique for Tuesday's clash, when Barcelona could secure a post in the last-16 of the Champions League.
