German football giants Bayern Munich have announced that midfielder Thiago Alcantara will be sidelined for a period of three to four weeks after suffering a right ankle injury while on international duty with Spain last Friday against England.
The Bavarian side on Tuesday revealed the player's condition as well as his period of absence following his medical check, reports Efe.
Since joining Bayern, Alcantara has been suffering from injuries, which prevented him from playing for a whole season.
