Delhi government to move court against police commissioner

The Delhi government will move court, seeking action against Delhi Police Commissioner B.S. Bassi for allegedly violating rules in buying a flat.

The move is set to deepen the enmity between the Delhi government and Delhi Police.

"The decision came after Delhi government's Vigilance Department established that Bassi had indeed done wrong," said a government official.

"The department will seek to register a police complaint against Bassi for illegally acquiring a flat in Lucky Home Cooperative Society of Rohini illegally," he said.
