Denmark in volleyball European championship playoffs

Denmark pulled off an incredible win over Belarus to enter the playoffs of the European championship volleyball competition.

Denmark managed to stand victorious after five riveting sets to edge Belarus 25-21, 17-25, 23-25, 25-20 and 15-11 Sunday, reports Xinhua.

With the victory, Denmark finished third in Pool A to advance, setting up a playoff clash with Serbia for a quarterfinal spot.

Belgium ended top of Pool A to qualify for the last eight directly.
