Gopalaswami to head Kalakshetra Foundation

Former chief election commissioner N. Gopalaswami was Wednesday appointed chairman of the Chennai-based cultural body Kalakshetra Foundation.

A government notification issued Tuesday said Gopalaswami's tenure will be for five years. He succeeds Gopalkrishna Gandhi, whose resignation was accepted June 3.
