Indian Grand Master Harika Dronavalli continued her winning streak, beating International Master Tuvshintugs Batchimeg of Mongolia in the seventh round of the Reykjavik Open chess tournament here.

Even though she was up against a lower rated opponent, the World No.11 Indian had to work hard to prevail in the game.

"My opponent made a small mistake in the opening phase of the game which made it easier for me," the Guntur lass said after the game.

"Even though she made a mistake, I had to convert it very accurately and won after a five hour long strategic battle," she added.

Harika now has a total of five wins, one draw and a loss apiece which has seen her amass a total of five and a half points to be at the 14th position.

The Hyderabadi will take on 24-year-old Grand Master Mustafa Yilmaz of Turkey in the next round.
