Two cars carrying election materials of outgoing Haryana Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Sukhbir Kataria were seized here Wednesday, an official said.
The cars were seized for carrying election materials without permission, said the official with the Election Commission flying squad.
"Cars were carrying T-shirts, caps, cricket bats and stickers having election symbol of Sukhbir Kataria. They were seized from mini secretariat here," said the official.
Later, the cars were handed over to police.
Kataria is contesting as an Independent candidate from Gurgaon assembly constituency.
The assembly polls in Haryana are slated to be held Oct 15.
