It was a foggy morning here on Friday with the minimum temperature recorded at 11.2 degrees Celsius, the season's average, the weather office said.
"There was moderate to shallow fog at several places this morning. The sky will remain clear during the day," an India Meteorological Department official said.
According to the IMD, visibility stood at 500 metres, while humidity at 8.30 a.m., was 95 per cent.
At least 10 trains were cancelled and 30 were delayed due to fog in several parts of northern India, the railways said.
The maximum temperature was likely to hover around 26 degrees Celsius.
