Hundreds missing as boat capsizes off Libya coast

Hundreds of people were reported missing after a migrant boat with as many as 700 people on board capsized just off the Libyan coast, media reported on Sunday.

The incident happened on Saturday night and till Sunday afternoon only 28 migrants had been rescued, Xinhua news agency reported.

The migrants were believed to have moved to one side of the boat over-balancing it when a merchant ship approached.
